The Documentary Lab Workshop pairs our participants with professional filmmaker mentors to create short personal films about their lives and communities.

• Participants will explore issues close to their heart, from social justice and access to resources to cultural identity, and share them through the powerful lens of documentary filmmaking.

• We connect participants with local organizations and community leaders who’ll offer guidance and inspiration as participants turn their  experiences into powerful narratives.

• Finally, we’ll showcase participants’ documentaries in film festivals and community events, sparking dialogue and making a positive impact on the world around them.
